Saul: Ho ho, look at this! Isn’t this cozy? What’d you tell them?
Jesse: I told them they were a couple of dicks.
Saul: Heh, he’s a wordsmith.
Jesse: So Gus didn’t poison him after all. Still…he…uh, he had to go, right?
Walt: You’re damn right. Gus had to go.
The differences in their expressions here (Jesse, full of remorse and unsure; Walt, smug and forever confident in his foolish, selfish short-sighted decisions) encapsulate EVERYTHING about the fundamental differences in their characters. This was perfect.
